Leonard A. Smith Memorial Scholarship 2024

The Friends of the Library of Hudson, NH, continue to support the goals of advancing higher education for Hudson students by annually awarding the Leonard A. Smith memorial scholarship. This scholarship has been awarded since 2002 and was established in honor of Mr. Smith, a dedicated public servant who served the community at the state, regional, and town levels for over thirty years.

During that time, Mr. Smith was a State Representative, and served on the Nashua Regional Planning Commission and the Hudson Planning Board and Building Board of Appeals. Throughout his many years of service, he supported the schools, the police and fire departments and the library, where he served as a trustee.
