Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant
Rodgers Memorial Library is seeking a part-time Accounting Clerk/ Administrative Assistant. This dual-role position provides essential administrative support to the Library Director and the Board of Trustees while accurately managing the day-to-day library bookkeeping functions in QuickBooks.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Bookkeeping: A/P; bank deposits; balance checkbooks; prepare the monthly Treasurer's Report
- Auditing Support: Routine financial documentation and audit materials for the annual audit
- Administrative Support: Attend the monthly Board of Trustees meeting; transcribe minutes; post agendas
You Will Need To Be
- Friendly, outgoing, and able to work with people
- Able to work with minimal direct supervision, both independently and collaboratively
You Will Need To Have
- A working knowledge of QuickBooks, Windows, and G Suite. Experience with Munismart software is a plus.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED (College degree preferred)
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, including AP
You Will Earn
- Salary range starts at $21.00/hour based on experience
Schedule: Must be able to work Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM).
