Show your love for the Rodgers Public Library by purchasing an engraved paving brick, which will be installed in the brick walkway in front of the library building main doors. Engrave your brick in your family’s name, honor someone special, memorialize a loved one, commemorate a special library occasion, or use a favorite quote! See the application below for more information on purchasing a brick of your own.
The Buy-A-Brick Program was part of a fund-raising campaign for the construction of the current George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library library building on Derry Street. Library patrons were invited to celebrate special events, memorials and honor library supporters by purchasing an engraved brick for either $50 or $75.
The Buy-A-Brick Program has been an ongoing success with the installation of new bricks twice a year, and is currently managed by the Friends of the Library of Hudson, a non-profit organization that has funded and supported Rodgers Library programs, events and equipment for over 40 years. Funds from the Buy-A-Brick program will go towards financial support of library activities for youth, adult and community programs.
