What are digital printable passes?
The best part? You don't have to pick them up!
Digital printable passes are emailed to you after you successfully place a reservation. They can be printed at home or accessed using devices such as tablets and smartphones.
New England Aquarium's digital passes offer a more accessible experience and will be made available through the Assabet museum pass reservation system. We are excited to make the digital printable library passes available with the Aquarium's 2026 school-year season.
Reservations for New England Aquarium's school-year season library passes will open on Tuesday, September 1st.
How do I use a pass to book tickets and times for entry to the Aquarium?
New England Aquarium has made updates to streamline their digital customer service experience with online booking of entry time-slots. Patrons will be able to book their tickets and preferred entry times in advance with their library pass, online at www.neaq.org/coupons. Once booked, patrons will present their library pass and their tickets order confirmation email to the Will Call window of the Aquarium Box Office for expedited entry.
To book dates and entry times with your library pass, go the above link and select "Library Coupon from Participating Libraries" and then click on the link to "Purchase Tickets Using Library Coupon Here". You will be asked to select a date and then entry times and number of tickets.
The dates shown on the tickets and on the library pass must match.
Rodgers Memorial Library is not currently shown in the dropdown on their library pass acknowledgment page. Please scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Other" to continue with completing your order.
How do I place a reservation for a digital printable pass?
You can always find and select New England Aquarium on the library's Museum Passes webpage, or starting on Tuesday, September 1st, you can click on the New England Aquarium tile below to get started with reserving a school-year season digital library pass.
- Click "Details/Reserve" and then click "Reserve a Pass".
- Next, choose the available date you wish to visit the Aquarium.
- The date on your library pass must match the date you select when booking your tickets and entry times to the Aquarium.
- Enter your library card number, then "Continue" to confirm your name and email that will be used for your library pass.
- Select "Continue" again to place the reservation.
