Saturday, August 27, 10AM – (2016, PG) When an island populated by happy, flightless birds is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to three unlikely outcasts – Red, Chuck and Bomb – to figure out what the pigs are up to.

Friday, August 26, 3:30PM – (2015, R) Four denizens in the world of high-finance predict the credit and housing bubble collapse of the mid-2000s, and decide to take on the big banks for their greed and lack of foresight.
Freegal® Music is a free music service from your library. All you need is your library card number and some libraries utilize a PIN. Freegal offers access to about 8 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 28,000+ labels with music that originates in over 80 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions.
The community room exhibit this month is paintings by Hudson artist Jason Debow. Jason’s work mainly focuses on portraits, outdoor landscapes including farms and beaches and vintage vehicles. Watercolor is his primary medium.
There will be an artist’s reception on Tuesday, August 16, 6-8:30PM. Meet the artist, enjoy light refreshments and listen to the music of Cowhampshire folk.

Reserve your passes online up to 90 days in advance. We ask that each family have no more than one reservation in the system at a time, but a new reservation may be made once the current pass is picked up. Reservations may also be made by phone (603-886-6030) or in person.
Inclement Weather Policy
On days when the Hudson Schools are closed due to inclement weather conditions, all library programming is cancelled, even if the library is still open. Be aware that the library may also close if conditions warrant! We will attempt to publicize our closures through WMUR, Facebook and our website as soon as information is available. Feel free to call the library to renew items or conduct other business over the phone if the weather makes it unsafe for you to venture out!
