Saturday, August 18, 1:00pm – Music Through the Decades with David Polanski
The Norman Rockwell Museum commissioned David Polansky to develop “Music Through the Decades”, a fun filled hour in which the audience learns of how American and world history in the first half of the twentieth century have inspired so many of the songs we love.
Using keyboard, trumpet, and vocals, David presents the music of George M. Cohan, Fats Waller, Irving Berlin, Hoagie Carmichael and a host of others.
A career musician, David has played with Sandler and Young, Phyllis Diller, Henny Youngman, Ray Bolger, Arthur Fiedler, The Platters, The Coasters and many more.
The DCU Free Concert series is possible through a generous grant from the Digital Credit Union
