Saturday, December 8, 1:00pm
Traditionally Lithuanians abstain from eating meat on Christmas Eve. The traditional Kūčios supper consists of twelve meatless dishes that usually include fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, bakery goods and desserts. Chef Oonagh Williams will be preparing traditional holiday dishes, a smoked salmon caviar spread and Kompotas, twelve fruit compote. The December cooking demo will be on the second Saturday, 12/8, from 1-3 but most months it is on the third Saturday.
Join Chef Oonagh Williams as she demonstrates Lithuanian dishes and have samples for tasting. Chef Oonagh is regularly featured on WMUR Manchester’s Cook’s Corner segments.
Please register so that Chef Oonagh will know how much food to prepare.
This program is made possible by a grant from the Charles Zylonis Trust.
