Returning materials

NOTE: All late return fines have been waived. The Library is currently in "Fine Amnesty" mode. You will not be charged late fees for keeping library materials until further notice.

NOTE: Return items to the library or in the Book Return Drop. The library is not responsible for any lost or stolen items if these are left outside the building outside current operating hours.

All items should be returned in the Book Return Drop in the front of the library

Please note: ALL Library of Things items need to be returned to the Reference Desk during the Library's current hours. These items cannot be dropped off in the book drop. Any Library of Things items dropped off in the book drop will accrue a fine.

Item renewals

One (1) renewal is allowed for books on two-week loan periods if there are no requests, or “holds,” on the item. Two (2) renewals are allowed for books on three-week loan periods if there are no holds on the item

Fees
  • If a patron has lost their card, a fee at fair market cost will be charged for the replacement of the lost card, currently set at $3.*
  • Non-residents may purchase an immediate family membership for an annual fee set by the Board of Trustees. Picture identification is required. (A library card will be issued to each immediate family member.)
  • Non-residents must renew their library cards annually and pay a “non-resident fee” set by the Board of Trustees, currently set at $50.*
